ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES MANAGER

Uses strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality service by effectively managing day-to-day cashier and ambassador operations. Ensures that all employees report for work and complete assigned tasks. Uses current technology to monitor compliance of parking ordinances and process cash and credit transactions.  Has the ability to maintain an empathetic and composed demeanor while resolving guest and employee concerns. Demonstrates dedication to providing quality services and programs by knowledgeably informing guests and residents of parking options, rates, and City of Virginia Beach parking ordinances. Provides guests and residents with directions and information on events and amenities. Creates a positive image of the city of Virginia Beach by demonstrating a high degree of professionalism.

Must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understands Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint applications
  • Understands Google applications including G-Mail and Google calendar
  • Able to use current technology
  • Leadership skills
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends
  • Possess a clean driving record
  • Capable of standing/walking for extended periods
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to work hours in excess of normally scheduled hours

For your convenience, you can also complete the orientation at our Suffolk office on Mondays at 1:30PM (157 N. Main Street in Suffolk 757-514-7737) or our Franklin office (located at the Paul D Camp Community College Regional Workforce Development Center 100 N. College Drive).

Once your Orientation and Survey are completed, please come in to complete your intake process – intakes are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 to 12:30 or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 to 4:00
