Recruit New Employees Through Our Personalized Hiring Process
The Hampton Roads Workforce Council can host tailored hiring events on your behalf at any of our CAN locations, our Virginia Career Works Centers or our Youth Career Center of Hampton Roads. These events can assist with general outreach and recruitment of staff and volunteers or be hiring focused with onsite interviews. We provide targeted invitations to the Hampton Roads Workforce Council clientele that matches your specific needs. At the request of the employer, we provide a prescreening process that includes application completion, interviewing and resume development. Additionally, the Hampton Roads Workforce Council is able to partially reimburse eligible business or organizations for wages if they agree to hire an individual and teach him or her necessary skills to do the job through the On The Job Learning program.
